The College of Charleston Libraries creates digital collections and makes them available in order to increase access to its rare or unpublished holdings.  These collections may include materials from the Special Collections Department, the Jewish Heritage Collection, or the Avery Research Center.  Through the use of appropriate technological standards, the College Libraries endeavor to preserve, encourage use of, and facilitate access to its digital collections.
